1. Beethoven, Symphony No. 9 op. 125, II mvt.

A manuscript of the Symphony is in the Juilliard School Library, New York.

One of the Juilliard students was Nina Simone, so:

2. I Wish I Knew How it Would Feel to Be Free

Eunice Waymon decided to call herself Nina Simone as an hommage to Simone Signoret, the French actress, who was married to Yves Montand, so:

3. Amor dammi quel fazzolettino

Yves Montand recorded this song in 1963, when Dizzy Gillespie and the Double Six of Paris recorded their album, so:

4. Anthropology

The Double Six of Paris used to record over their tracks, being 6 and actually sounding like 12, as the 12 Cellist of the Berliner Philharmoniker, so:

The title translates as 'Cinnamon Flower', so:

6. Cinnamon Girl

Neil Young used to be part of the supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Another popular supergroup was the U.K., as their members were part of King Crimson, Roxy Music, Yes, Frank Zappa's band and so on, so:

7. In the Dead of Night
